On 29th November 2006, the ‘Festival of Flight’ exhibition opened in the Royal Apartments of Stirling Castle with a show in the famous Chapel Royal led by Sitakumari and dancers of Scotland’s Ballet West. This was an evocative setting for a story about overcoming major obstacles and fulfilling man’s dream to fly. The combination of Indian dance and classical ballet was the ideal storytelling combination.
