The Tube has been part of London for 150 years, It opened in 1863 and has a staggering 1.37 billion passengers using it every year or 2.6 million people every day. It is a world within a world and a very special place to have ‘behind the scenes’ access. There are numerous stories to be told about the Underground and the people who help to run it. Some of these images have been used in the installations on display on several of the stations across London.
