On stage at Eden Court, Inverness, in June 2009, Sitakumari and principal dancers Sheena Devlin, Jermaine McCracken and Morrighan MacGillivray together with supporting cast drawn from Cauldeen Primary School and Inverness Royal Academy presented dance pieces drawn from four photographic essays in the accompanying exhibition: This was part of a programme across Scotland funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund focussing on the natural environment. The exhibition presented on three floors of Eden Court covered the world of the peregrine, the kittiwakes and other seabirds and the Great White Shark in the Southern Ocean. The contemporary style of dance / storytelling, developed by Sitakumari from Bharatanatyam, combined with elements of ballet, Western Contemporary dance and Salsa brought by the other dancers created a unique mesmerising performance. The story of the kittiwakes was presented for the first time, a Scottish folk legend of the seabirds and how they carry the souls of dead children on their final journey across the ocean.
